The Definition of Done sets expectations, quality criterias and acceptance criterias for a user story or the function of a software so that it is considered complete. The Definition of Done is industry dependent and Scrum team dependent. The Definition of Done is discussed in the Sprint Planning Meeting. The quality criteria of a Definition of Done can concern the code, documentation, user manuals or tests. They can concern the items, the addressed functions of the user story, the creation, review and release of documents or the release of the products to end users or customers. The Definition of Done can be extended individually for each User Story by acceptance criteria.
